NOTICE OF GENERAL ELECTION

TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF

LIMA TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2022

7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT A GENERAL ELECTOR WILL BE HELD IN LIMA TOWNSHIP FOR THE PURPOSE OF VOTING ON CANDIDATES FOR THE OFFICES LISTED BELOW, THREE STATE PROPOSALS, AND ONE DEXTER LIBRARY MILLAGE.

Polls will open 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Lima Township Hall, 11452 Jackson Rd, Dexter for Precincts 1 and 2.

A Voter Assist Terminal is available. Absentee ballot applications and ballots are available for all elections Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Lima Township Office, located at 12172 Jackson Road, Dexter, on-line at www.limatownshipmi.gov and www.mi.gov/vote. District Library (Dexter) Millage Renewal: Shall the Dexter District Library be authorized to levy annually a renewal of the previously voted increase in the tax limitation, which expires in 2022, in an amount not to exceed .6620 mill against all taxable property within the Dexter District Library district for a period of six years for the purpose of providing funds for all district library purposes authorized by law? The estimate of the revenue the Dexter District Library will collect if the millage is approved and levied in the 2023 calendar year is approximately $1,072,000.
