NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE
TO: THE RESIDENTS AND
PROPERTY OWNERS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SYLVAN, WASHTENAW COUNTY, MICHIGAN, AND ANY OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the following is a summary of Ordinance No. 22-02 amending the Sylvan Township Zoning Ordinance regulating open space preservation developments. This ordinance was adopted by the Township Board at a regular meeting held on December 6, 2022.

ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT
SECTION I. AMENDMENT TO SECTION 30-805 OF THE TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE, GOVERNING OPEN SPACE PRESERVATION DEVELOPMENTS. Amends Section 30-805 of the Sylvan Township Zoning Ordinance by replacing the existing language in its entirety and providing new regulations for open space preservation developments, including: a purpose; the scope of the regulations; general development regulations; open space requirements; design standards; review criteria; and an approval process.
SECTION II. SEVERABILITY. Provides that the provisions of the Ordinance are severable.
SECTION III. REPEAL. Conflicting ordinances and provisions of ordinances are repealed.
SECTION IV. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall take effect eight (8) days after publication following adoption.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the full text of this Ordinance has been posted in the Office of the Sylvan Township Clerk at the address set forth below; on the Sylvan Township website at https://sylvantownshipmi.gov; and that a copy of the Ordinance may be purchased or inspected at the office of the Sylvan Township Clerk during regular business hours of regular working days (Mondays through Thursdays from 9 am until noon) following the date of this publication.
