Synopsis of Regular Meeting Minutes

December 12, 2022

Supervisor Luick opened the meeting at 7:00 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance. All board members were present.

The evening agenda was approved as presented.

The Board approved the consent agenda: Special meeting of November10, 2022 and meeting minutes of November 14, 2022, accounts payable for $72,739.76, and payroll for $11,171.66.

During public comment George Panagoulias spoke to the Board regarding a marijuana dispensary.

The Treasurer, Clerk, Supervisor and other committee reports were given.

The Board entered into executive session at 7:15pm, and returned at 7:53pm.

During old business, the 425 agreement, regarding the Wolfe Development with the City of Chelsea was discussed. The matter was postponed pending township timeframe validity and clarification input. The Board made a motion and approved AmeriScan proposal to digitalize township records. A motion was made and approved to continue board’s prior decision to opt out of any further progress for the marijuana dispensary. The board discussed the unpaid compensation of Randy Raiford, Zoning Administrator, and required him to work within the terms of his employment.

During new business, motions were made and approved for a township credit card, Amazon account and to outsource payroll. The matter of the township website maintenance was postponed to March. A motion was made and approved for an increase in pay for the Deputy Clerk position as it is a training position while held by the past Clerk.

Final public comment from David Wolf and one resident spoke on the Wolf Development., and the meeting was adjourned at 9:10 PM.
