Lyndon Twp: Public Hearing for Special Use Permit 1-26-23

LYNDON TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING,

January 26, 2023, AT 7:00 PM

The Lyndon Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 7:00 PM. The application requests amendments to the special use permit (SUP23-001) and site plan (SPA23-001) at 7665 Werkner Road (TIDE-05-36-100-008). The amendment to the special use permit will allow for church based and similar retreats with overnight stays on the property. The site plan review will be to allow the addition of a 7445 square foot to the existing main building on the site. This new addition will be connected to the main building by a long hallway and will have 10 sleeping rooms, a lounge/library space, a meditation room, a laundry room and 12 bathrooms.

Written comments may be submitted to the Lyndon Township Clerk, Linda Reilly via email at clerkatlyndon@gmail.com or can be sent to the Lyndon Township Offices via mail. All correspondence must be submitted by 4:00 pm the day of the public hearing or presented at the public hearing. The Lyndon Township Board will provide, if time after the request allows, necessary and reasonable auxiliary aids or services to individuals with disabilities at the public hearing.
