MINUTES OF THE DECEMBER 6, 2022 SYLVAN TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES REGULAR MEETING 7:00 pm, 18027 OLD US 12 CHELSEA, MICHIGAN 48118 Present: Supervisor Kennedy, Clerk Nimke, Treasurer Branham, Trustee Schulze, Trustee Koseck.

Call to order 7:02 pm. Pledge of allegiance recited. Public comment was given. Consent agenda approved. Regular Agenda approved as amended. The Board took action to: approve the repair/replacement of two township exterior doors; give the Planning Commission authority to hire a planning consultant to assist with the Master Plan update; approve a proposal for training for township officials and staff; approve allocation of funding for planning assistance for Solar, Administrative Review and Lake District Zoning Ordinance amendments; approve text amendments to the Open Space Preservation Development section of the Zoning Ordinance; approve a letter of support for the City of Chelsea’s grant application for bike trails; approve Township office closures on December 27-29, 2022; confirm the appointment of Cliff Camp to the Planning Commission; approve the deletion and addition of signatories for Chelsea State Bank accounts; approve the reappointment of Board of Review regular members Lee Arend, David Jorgensen and Reuben Lesser and alternate member David Reinhardt. Second public comment given. Board of Trustee comments given. The meeting adjourned at 10:20 pm.
