Chelsea: Gestamp Proposed Combined Site Plan Review 3-21-23

NOTICE OF REQUEST

FOR PROPOSED COMBINED SITE PLAN REVIEW

An application has been filed by Gestamp for a Combined Preliminary and Final Site Plan Review (SP23-01) for an expansion to their existing metal stamping facility for the manufacture of automotive supplies located at 5800 Sibley Road in the GI–General Industrial District. The proposed expansion would total 35,393 square feet.

Due to the cancellation of the Wednesday, February 22, 2023 Chelsea Planning Commission meeting, the application for a Site Plan Review will now be considered by the Chelsea Planning Commission on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. Meeting to be held in the City Municipal Building (Council Chambers) located at 311 S. Main Street, Chelsea, MI. A Zoom link will be provided for members of the public who would like to attend remotely. Information will be posted to the City of Chelsea’s website (www.city-chelsea.org).

Signed, written comments concerning the application will be accepted prior to the Planning Commission meeting and will be included in the meeting packet. Comments should be addressed to the Chelsea Planning Commission, 305 S Main St, Suite 100, Chelsea, MI. 48118.

A public hearing on the site plan will be held, if requested in writing by any property owner or occupant within 300 feet of the boundary of the property being considered.

Persons requiring reasonable accommodations to disabilities in order that the hearing be accessible to them are requested to notify the Chelsea Planning Commission Chairman no later than five business days prior to the date of the hearing of such disability.
