FIRE PREVENTION CODE

ORDINANCE NO. 182

The City of Chelsea approved Ordinance No. 182 on February 22, 2023 to amend Article II Fire Code, Section 16-19 Adoption of Fire Prevention Code, to Chapter 16 Fire Prevention and Protection, of the City Code to designate NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) – 2018 Edition as the fire code of the city.

EFFECTIVE: 3/16/2023

A copy of the Ordinance may be inspected at the City of Chelsea Offices, 305 South Main Street, Suite 100, Chelsea, Michigan 48118, during regular business hours, 8:00am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, except for legal holidays.
