NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS
TO THE
CITY OF CHELSEA ZONING ORDINANCE
Notice is hereby given that the Chelsea Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing, as the statute provides, for amendments to the City of Chelsea Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance No. 181-2023-06).
The proposed text amendments are being requested by the City of Chelsea Planning Commission to amend Section 10.02 – Cluster Development, Section 12.02 Application Procedures for Site Plan Review, and Section 14.05 Public Notice Requirements.
The zoning text amendment will be considered by the Chelsea Planning Commission on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. Meeting to be held in the City Municipal Building (Council Chambers) located at 311 S. Main Street, Chelsea, MI. A Zoom link will be provided for members of the public who would like to attend remotely. Information will be posted on the City of Chelsea’s website (www.city-chelsea.org).
Signed, written comments concerning the text amendment will be accepted prior to the Planning Commission meeting and will be included in the meeting packet. Comments should be addressed to the Chelsea Planning Commission, 305 S Main St, Suite 100, Chelsea, MI 48118.
Persons requiring reasonable accommodations for disabilities in order that the hearing be accessible to them are requested to notify the Chelsea Planning Commission Chairman no later than five business days prior to the date of the hearing of such disability.
