MOTION Feeney SECONDED Keaton to appoint Adrianna Jordan, current City of Chelsea Community Development Director, as Acting City Manager, effective immediately, continuing until Council appointed Interim Acting City Manager begins employment (target start date is May 15, 2023). All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION Iannelli SECONDED Wiseley to interview the following candidates: Wain Bling, Troy Bell, and Elke, with interview recommendations brought to City Council at the May 8, 2023 Special Meeting.
Letter of Intent – Main Street Park Alliance (Community Development Director Jordan)
MOVED Keaton SECONDED Feeney to approve the Federal Screw Works property LOI between the City of Chelsea and MSPA. 6 ayes, 1 nay. Motion carried.
MOVED Feeney SECONDED Keaton to adopt the 80/20 Cost Sharing Model Resolution as presented. All ayes. Motion carried.
MOVED Keaton SECONDED Iannelli to adopt the proposed budget work session and public hearing schedule for the City of Chelsea 2023-2024 budget and millage and utility rate schedule. All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION Feeney SECONDED Wiseley to approve a purchase order for $76,825.00 to Tatman Associates. All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION Ruddock SECONDED Feeney to adopt the resolution regarding the Appointment of Operations Manager Charles Stevens as Commissioner to the Michigan Public Power Agency for the City of Chelsea. All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION Wiseley SECONDED Keaton to approve the Power Purchase Commitment Authorization as outlines in the attachment provided. All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION Iannelli SECONDED Keaton to move forward with Midwestern Consulting, MDOT and WATS to begin next steps for the West Middle Street project. All ayes. Motion carried.
MOVED Keaton SECONDED Wiseley to accept the bid from Ferguson Water Works for $124,914.21 and City Services for $9,600.00. All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION Iannelli SECONDED Wisely to approve the Resolution to reactivate a Social District in the City of Chelsea, consistent with the map and operating plan provided. All ayes. Motion carried.
