SYNOPSIS OF MAY 2023 BOARD MEETING MINUTES

LYNDON TOWNSHIP – 17751 N. Territorial Road, Chelsea, MI 48118. Summary of Minutes, May 9, 2023—Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM. No Public Comment. Items Approved: Agenda, Consent Agenda, and Approval of Bills. Zoning Administrator discussed his report that was submitted to the Township Board in writing. CAFA Representative summarized his report to the Township Board. Deputy Supervisor reported on what efforts that are being worked on with Zoning to inform new residents about Broadband and making CAFA information more visible on the website. Multi-Lakes Water & Sewer Representative summarized his report to the Board. Washtenaw County Recycling Authority (WWRA) Representative reported on their activities. Items Approved: Sign the contract with SP Urban Planning Services for site plan review and other planning services the Township had previously been provided by Carlisle/Wortman on an as needed basis commencing at a rate of $90 per hour for planning services with the condition that the contract be edited; 3-year contract with VC 3; Accept the quote from Zelen Builders for a not to exceed amount of $8,000; Appoint Jo Ann Munce, Christopher Goodwin, Richard Wineland, Gigi Batsakis, and Pam Byrnes as Board Liaison for the Local Roads Advisory Committee for the term May 1, 2023 through April 30, 2025 (2 years) and pay representatives the regular per diem; Submit letter objecting to the gravel mining legislation; the Budget Amendments and increase the Township Hall – Maintenance $10,000.00. Meeting adjourned at 9:16 PM.
