LIMA TOWNSHIP - BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING

Synopsis of Regular Meeting Minutes

October 9, 2023

Supervisor Luick called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance. All board members were present. The consent agenda was approved. Ayes: Du Luick, G. McKenzie, T. Reynhout and Da Luick. Nay: N. Havens. The consent agenda included Minutes of September 11, 2023, Regular Meeting, Minutes of October 2, 2023, Special Meeting, Payroll $11,649.67, Accounts Payable $21,935.55. The Treasurer submitted a financial report for September 2023. Reports were given.

Under new business, action to approve the release of $200,000 from the Thorton Farms Escrow Account to offset the cost of installing a new water storage tank was tabled. A motion to approve $2000 for purchase of computer equipment with tech support from VC3 for the zoning inspector was approved.

Under old business a motion was adopted to not expend any additional township funds from the previously allocated $10,000 to the renovation committee until Lima Township has a proposal for the funds that would be expended and what the deliverables would be so the board can authorize the signing of a contract.

A motion was adopted to amend the agenda to consider the Washtenaw County Revised Early Voting Agreement. A motion was adopted to accept the Washtenaw County Revised Early Voting Agreement.

The meeting adjourned at 8:10 PM.
