Judith Ann Dehring
September 18, 1947 – December 8, 2023
Judith Ann Dehring of Gregory, Michigan passed away Friday, December 8, 2023, surrounded by her family after a strong fight battling cancer. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Victor and Vivian Mason. She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Rebecca (Dehring) Harr.
Judy attended Oxford Dominican where she gained many life-long friendships that she cherished daily. Judy continued her education at Detroit Mercy where she earned her bachelor’s degree. After graduation, she began her career working as a Catholic School teacher for elementary grade-level students.
Judy had a passion for doing “acts of kindness” and those acts touched the hearts of all that knew her. She loved baking, reading, gardening, making jewelry for family and friends, spending time with friends, including the St. Mary’s Women’s Bible Study group, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by the father of her children Paul Gregory (Sharon) Dehring, her children, Andrew (Nanci) Dehring, Brian (Kimberley) Dehring, and Sarah (Tony) Radu, her 13 grandchildren respectively: Mason and Diana; Hannah; Anthony, Hunter, Luke, Wyatt, and Noah; Anthony, Michael, Victor, James, and Gianluca; and 4 great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chelsea, MI. Family will receive friends Tuesday, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
