Project Description: Special Use Events Permit (SEP 24-001) at Robin Hills Farm for one event per ordinance section 30-808 agriculture commercial/tourism business. The event will feature games and activities for kids as well as concessions, live music, and fireworks. The event will be open to the public from 3:00 pm till 12:30 am on Saturday, June 29, 2024 to Sunday June 30, 2024. Setup for the event would start June 28, 2024 at 9:00 am and last until the event is open to the public. Cleanup of the event would happen on July 1, 2024 from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm. Approximately 500-800 people are estimated to attended and 100 volunteers and employees would work at the event.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Planning Commission meeting will be held in person in the Board Room at the Township Offices 18027 Old US 12, Chelsea, MI 48118. The public may also view/hear the meeting through Zoom access by computer and smart phone using the following link:

The public may only speak during the public hearing and during public comment by being physically present at the meeting. Such comments will be limited to three minutes per person for each item. Written comments may also be sent to the township offices at 18027 Old US 12, Chelsea, Michigan 48118-9673 prior to the public hearing will also be received by the Planning Commission at the meeting before close of the public hearing.
This notice is posted in compliance with the Open Meetings Act, Public Act 267 of 1976, as amended, (MCL 41.72a(2)(3)) and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The Planning Commission will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting or public hearing upon four (4) days notice to the Sylvan Zoning Administrator.
