LYNDON TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS
LYNDON TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING,
April 25, 2024 AT 7:00 PM
The Lyndon Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a Zoning Text Amendment (ZTA 24-001).
The Zoning Text Amendment (ZTA 24-001) if approved would revise the following sections of the zoning code as described:
- Amend section 18.07 to streamline Zoning Board of Appeals approval process.
- Amendment section 2.19 and 3.08 to clarify and revise the maximum size regulations for detached accessory buildings.
- Amend sections 3.09, 4.04, 5.04, 6.04, 7.04, 8.04, and 9.08 to remove regulations regarding minimum home size regulations and other restrictions on the design of residential structures;
- Add regulations to section 19.06 to restrict zoning permit approvals on properties with open violations.
- Amend section 3.10 to extend the duration that a temporary event is allowed.
- Amend section 3.07 regarding encroachments into water setbacks.
- Amend section 2.19 to address the use of shipping containers as sheds.
- Amend section 3.33 the regulations regarding the setbacks from the house for a generator.
