The City of Dexter Planning Commission will hold two public hearings at their meeting tonight, November 1, 2021, at 7p. The public may participate in person at 3515 Broad Street or virtually via Zoom. See details below. Please note that this is my own personal meeting reminder. There are two public hearings:

1. AP2021.22-06 ACRZ Application for Amendment to Conditional Rezoning Agreement, application received September 14, 2021; amended Site Plan Sheets L201, A-111and A-300, received October 13, 2021
   1. The applicant (Encore Theatre) is requesting the elimination of certain voluntarily offered and approved exterior improvements to the property located at 7714 Ann Arbor St. The applicant is voluntarily offering to remove existing nuisance exterior lighting fixtures on the Hudson Street façade, and replacing them with decorative shielded fixtures.

1. AP2021.22-07 TAZO Text Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance for Plug-in Electric Vehicle (PEV) Stations- Public Hearing
   1. The proposed text amendment establishes a set of regulations that allows plug-in electric vehicle stations in residential, commercial and industrial districts, as an accessory use. Any new residential development or dwelling will be required to be PEV ready. Although not required, the regulations encourage developers of new commercial/industrial projects or commercial/industrial redevelopment projects to provide or make-ready a site for PEVs.
