NOTICE OF REGISTRATION FOR THE PRIMARY ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY,
August 2, 2022
DEXTER TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN
TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF DEXTER TOWNSHIP:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that any qualified elector of Dexter Township who is not already registered, may register to vote at the office of the Township Clerk; the office of the County Clerk; a Secretary of State branch office, or other designated state agency. Registration forms can be obtained at mi.gov/vote and mailed to the Township Clerk. Voters who are already registered may update their registration at www.expressSOS.com.
The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk is Monday, July 18, 2022.
After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.492) at the Dexter Township Clerk’s office, located at 6880 Dexter Pinckney Road, Dexter, MI 48130 at the following times:
- Regular business hours: Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday, July 30th
from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and - Election Day, Tuesday August 2nd from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the August 2nd, 2022 Primary Election will be to vote for candidates seeking nomination to the offices below and the Dexter Community Schools Recreation ($1.00 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation for a period of 20 years) Millage Proposition.

FOR DEXTER COMMUNITY SCHOOLS RECREATION MILLAGE PROPOSITION
Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be assessed against all property in the Dexter Community Schools, Washtenaw and Livingston Counties, Michigan, be increased by and the board of education be authorized to levy not to exceed 1 mill ($1.00 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation) for a period of 20 years, 2002 to 2041 , inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds for operating a system of public recreation and playgrounds; the estimate of the revenue the school district will collect for such recreation program if the millage is approved and levied in 2022, is approximately $1,441,238?
