Hello Chelsea Community,
The school board election is around the corner! I have enjoyed learning more about our current school board candidates. It does sadden me that some of the published letters seem more interested in discrediting the opposing candidates than they do educating readers about what their candidate(s) of choice bring to the table. As a parent in the school system, I expect the school board members and the community to maintain a respectful demeanor given these adults will be leaders for our children.
It is with gratitude that I post this letter of support on behalf of Ross Greenstein. I have known Ross for many years, well before he decided to run for Chelsea School Board. He has always been a breath of fresh air, a kind and genuine man, willing to help anyone in need and always without judgment. Ross and his family have become very good friends of ours and has helped us through the most difficult times of our life. My two boys absolutely adore him. He also happens to be a prominent professional mentor for me. I see every day the way he cares about his patients, coworkers, family, friends, and this is the type of person I want to see on the school board for Chelsea. Even when under attack, Ross maintains a posture of kindness and dignity - a trait that will be well served on our local school board.
I do hope that all community members will research the candidates and support Ross (along with his running companions) - he is an asset to our community and will be as well as a School Board Trustee!
