Barbara F. Davis

Barbara F. Davis passed away on October 23rd 2022.  Barbara was surrounded by her family. Barbara was the youngest child of 4 born to Dennie & Eula Lampton on October 05 1935 in Louisville Kentucky. Her siblings preceded her in passing Geraldine (George) Bunt of Louisville, KY Ralph (Eula) Lampton of Louisville, KY and Lois (Bob) Brodeur of Cadillac, MI.  Barbara had three children, Denise Velligan -deceased, Daughter Stacey (Kevin) Robburts of Dexter, MI and Son Kevin (Melissa) Davis of Glendora, CA. Barbara had 4 grandchildren Jacob, Victoria, Austin and Wyatt.  Barbara resided at Silver Maples in Chelsea MI. She had made so many friends there, and enjoyed her activities, especially her church services and bingo. Barbara married her high school sweetheart Richard Huff.  Richard was a Army officer and pilot. They were able to be stationed in Germany and multiple US states. Unfortunately Richard passed away at 40 years old, leaving Barbara and their 14 year old Daughter Denise in Northridge CA. A few years later, she married Gene "Sonny" Davis and had 2 children, Stacey & Kevin.  Barbara loved fashion and dressed up every chance she could. When she was younger, she would attend debutant balls and etiquette classes, which she was able to share with her children. She had such a lovely personality and was so easy to talk to. She was loved so much by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.

There will be Celebration of Life service in CA after the New year. We will be having a very small service at Silver Maples for her resident friends and family on Monday, November 21st 2022 at 10:00 AM.
