WEBSTER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 22, 2023, at 7:00 p.m.

The Webster Township Planning Commission will hold THREE Public Hearings on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 7:00 PM at the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, Dexter, MI, to consider following amendments:

  1. TEXT AMENDMENT 22-ZTA-01:

  3. TEXT AMENDMENT 22-ZTA-03:

Public Hearing and consideration of the proposed amendment to section 6.10.B. Procedures for Dimensional Variances, in order to revise standards in existing section 6.10.B. for ZBA Effect of Approval 5 and add standards in new section 6.10.B.6. for Extension of Approval.

Public Hearing and consideration of the proposed amendment to replace section 13.25 Keeping of Animals in its entirety to consolidated standards related to Keeping of Animals in Agricultural and Residential districts to provide clear direction for the Township residents. The amendment also includes minor revisions to Section 2.2 Definitions and section 13.60 fence regulations to be consistent with section 13.25.

Public Hearing and consideration of the proposed amendment to replace section 13.165 Swimming Pools in its entirety to clarify and simplify existing standards and correct code references.

Copies of the proposed draft amendment are available at the Township Hall for review. The Planning Commission packet will also be available online at www.webstermi.us a week before the meeting date.

Written comments may be dropped off or mailed in advance to the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, Dexter, MI 48130 or emailed to zoningadmin@webstermi.us. All correspondence (including via email) must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Verbal comments may be heard at the hearing.

Those with disabilities must notify the Township Clerk no less than seven (7) days prior to the meeting so that accommodations may be furnished to satisfy their disability and allow for meaningful attendance.
