PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING
2023-2028 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN
Pursuant to Michigan Public Act 110 of 2006 (the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act), as amended, notice is hereby given that the City of Dexter Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Monday, May 1, 2023, at 7:00 pm. The public hearing will be held in City Council Chambers, located at 3515 Broad St, Dexter, MI, 48130.
The purpose of the public hearing is to consider the proposed City of Dexter Capital Improvements Plan (CIP) for FY 2023-2028. The CIP is a program that projects and coordinates public expenditures for improvements to the transportation and utility systems, municipal facilities, and other capital improvement projects over a six-year period. Preparation of the capital improvements plan is done under the authority of the PA 33 of 2008, the Michigan Planning Enabling Act, as amended. It is the Planning Commission’s goal that the CIP be used as a tool to implement the City’s Master Plan and assist is the City’s financial planning.
A copy of the proposed Capital Improvements Plan (CIP) is available for public inspection at the City Offices, 3515 Broad St., Dexter, MI 48130; weekdays between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A copy is also available online at www.dextermi.gov.

Public comment may be provided during the meeting, either in-person or virtually, or submitted in writing at city offices, located at 3515 Broad St., Mon-Fri 9:00 am to 5:00 pm or emailed to the Office of Community Development maniol@dextermi.gov. All comments must be received no later than close of business the day of the meeting.
Anyone needing a sign language interpreter, or other assistance, must contact the City Manager, jbreyer@dextermi.gov, at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting. Minutes of all meetings are available on the city website, www.dextermi.gov.
