Born September 28, 1929, to Otto and Anna Scherdt of Dexter, Michigan. Betty married Robert Lewis Schultz in 1950 and they lived in Whittier, Alaska and Fort Eustis, Newport News, Virginia. After Bob completed 6 years Army service, they move back to Dexter. They lived in Dexter the next 30 years until they became snowbirds, and eventually moved to Florida full time in 1988. In 1996 they moved within Florida from Torrey Island, Belle Glade to Lake Placid. Bob died in 2006. Betty is survived by 3 children, Robert L (Deborah)Schultz Jr., Pamela (James) Tasker and Susan (Ross) Davenport, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
