CITY OF DEXTER NOTICE OF ADOPTION ORDINANCE # 2023 - 04
AN ORDINANCE LEASING PROPERTY LOCATED AT
8050 MAIN ST. TO CHUCKWAGON BBQ, LLC FOR A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS
Notice is hereby given that the Dexter City Council adopted an Ordinance at a Regular Meeting on Monday, July 10, 2023, which was called to order by Mayor Keough at 7:00pm Eastern Time at 3515 Broad St., Dexter, MI 48130.
PRESENT: Aldag, Hubbard, Michels, Schlaff, Semifero
ABSENT: Griffin
The following Ordinance was offered by Member Semifero and supported by Member Schlaff:
The City of Dexter Ordains:
- That the City of Dexter does hereby lease property located at 8050 Main Street to Chuckwagon BBQ, LLC, for a period of two years (April 10, 2023 to March 31, 2025).
- Commencing April 10, 2023, the lease shall require monthly rental payments of seven hundred ($700.00) dollars, through November 30, 2023, for a total of five thousand six hundred ($5,600.00) dollars, and then commencing December 1, 2023 the lease shall require monthly rental payments of seven hundred twenty-five ($725.00) dollars, through and until the lease expires on March 31, 2025, for a total amount of eleven thousand six hundred ($11,600.00) dollars. All other terms shall be as established by the Commercial Real Estate Lease approved by City Council on July 10, 2023.
This Ordinance shall take effect upon publication as required by Section 15.12 of the City of Dexter Charter.
