SCIO TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

SYNOPSIS JUNE 27, 2023

The meeting was called to order at 7:02 pm by Supr. Hathaway at 827 N. Zeeb Road.

Present: Hathaway, Reiser, Knol, Kerry, Palmer, Brazeau, Flintoft

Approved minutes of regular meeting of June 27, 2023, with corrections.

Approved the payment of claims presented and accepted the previous check run report.

Approved the 2023 tax rates request to be levied against all real and personal property within the Township.

Authorized R&R Fire Truck Repair, Inc. to perform listed repairs to E-1 in the amount of $9,525.

Authorized up to $15,000 in additional expenditure for Jackson Boulevard mowing from fund 245-000-932.

Authorized the postponement of the public hearing on the Goodrich Theatre PUD amendment to July 11, 2023.

Authorized the Township Manager to implement a Request for Proposals plan for a Finance Director.

Adopted the proposed Resolution establishing the Fire SAD, setting a public hearing on August 8, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.

Authorized the closure of Township Hall to the public on Monday, July 3, 2023.
