NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF WEBSTER TOWNSHIP LICENSED HOME-BASED BUSINESS ORDINANCE
Ordinance No. 2006-03 & Resolution No. 20-23 as adopted on August 15, 2023
At a regular meeting of the Township Board of Webster Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan, held at the Webster Township Hall on August 15, 2023 at 7 p.m., Township Board Member Vrsek moved to adopt the following ordinance, which motion was seconded by Township Board Member Harms.
YEAS: Vrsek, Calleja, Harms, Munzel
NAYS: Kingsley, Scharf, Westman
ABSENT/ABSTAIN: None
An ordinance to license home based occupation; to provide for the processing of applications and administration of licenses; to provide for fees; to provide standards; to provide for variances; to provide penalties
The Township of Webster, Washtenaw County, Michigan Ordains:
Section 2. Intent. Minor modification
Section 4. Definitions.
- Added definitions for Zoning administrator and zoning enforcement officer.
- Revised the term ‘Licensed Home-Based Business’ to ‘Home-Based Business’.
- ‘Planning Commission’ to ‘Township Board’
- ‘Township Clerk’ to ‘Zoning Administrator’
- ‘Inspector’ to ‘Zoning Administrator’
- ‘Occupation’ to ‘Business’
- ‘A-1’ to ‘AG
All sections. Following terms have been amended as follows:
