SYNOPSIS SCIO TOWNSHIP REGULAR BOARD MEETING

Approved the minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 11, 2023, as amended.

Approved the payment of claims presented and accepted the previous check run report.

Approved up to $10,000 for Tree Trimming at West Scio and Sloan Preserves.

Approved Liquor License Recommendation for Ann Arbor Indoor Golf, LLC.

Called for a Special Meeting with the DDA and Planning Commission to discuss the Jackson Rd Boulevard on August 10, 2023 at 7 pm.

Held a public hearing regarding Suburban Lithia Proposed OA- PUD #23001.

Adopted Resolution to Refund Surplus Funds from Scio Township Special Assessment District  #2013-05.

Approved the repurposing of funds within Public Improvement Fund to pay for maintenance work on the Jackson Rd Boulevard.

Accepted bid from Fonson Company and authorized up to $384,000 ARPA funds for Scio Ridge/Upland Drive pedestrian safety improvements.

Awarded the contract for schematic design for Fire Station 2 to Partners in Architecture.

Established a permanent part-time position of Ordinance Officer.

Tabled Knights of Columbus Proposed OA-PUD # 21005 PSP #21012.

Accepted the Compensation Commission determination of salary for Township Trustee

Accepted the Compensation Commission determination of salary for Township Treasurer.

Accepted the Compensation Commission determination of salary for Township Clerk.

Accepted the Compensation Commission determination of salary for Township Supervisor.
