Kathy Lampe has gained her wings

This post expresses the views and opinions of the author(s) and not necessarily that of The Sun Times News management or staff.

Today our hearts grieve for the loss of a Mother, a Daughter, a Grand Mother, a Sister, a Cousin, a Soul that was more to some than she thought she was.

Kathy Lampe has gained her wings and has found her peace. Her soul took flight to watch over those of us still here. With a flash of a memory and the touch of a tear we will feel the love of her that remains near and dear.

She leaves behind her mother Alice Gall. Her 2 daughters Claire Curtis and Sandy Wilcher. Four Grand children Paige Curtis, Aimee Stoops, Riley Pregitzer and Cody Wilcher. Also three Great Grand babies Xzavier Curtis, Asher Riddle and Amelia Pregitzer. Her many brothers and sisters Norene (Gintaras) Kastys, Karl (Lynn) Lampe, Paul (Vickie) Lampe, Norman (Sue) Lampe, Perry (Mary) Lampe, also her close cousin Roger Schafer and so many more cousins nieces and nephews. She follows her father Walter Lampe in passing.

With sincere appreciation of Mary Lampe and her loving and gentle heart and care in the past few weeks for helping Kathy on her journey from this life to the next adventure that awaits her.

Kathy enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, the yearly family reunions with the family branches of Emil (Hazel), Ruhlig, Campbell, Schafer and more, spending time with her Grand kids and Great Grand babies, she had a love of cats and many other animals. Supporting others in the care that they needed. She did her best to recycle what she could to help the earth she lived on, the treasure hunt of yard sales. Kathy enjoyed conversations with others and hearing their stories. The many simple things in life that add to the grandeur of things.

We shall keep you close to our Hearts. Kathy, you touched the hearts of many, passed on smiles and laughter and shared with us your life and love and your very own unique individuality of what made you the special you.

Loved always and forever.

Rest in peace
