SYNOPSIS SCIO TOWNSHIP REGULAR BOARD MEETING

September 26, 2023, 7:00 pm

Approved the minutes of September 12, 2023.

Approved the payment of claims presented and accepted the previous check run report.

Approved the repair and installation of Flygt Pump at Jackson Road Pump Station.

Approved two proposals from Howlett Lock & Door.

Approved Hydrogen Sulfide/Oxygen Injection Monitoring equipment and related services.

Authorized the Township Manager to lead negotiations between the owners of two event spaces, neighbors, and others to resolve issues.

Requested the Planning Commission review additional information re: CU #23009 prior to Board consideration at the October 24, 2023, regular meeting.

Approved the Annual Service Agreement with the AAATA for 2023-24.

Approved a conditional offer of employment to Brandon McNiel.

Approved a Countywide Early Voting Agreement for 2024-25.

Appointed Trustee Jillian Kerry to serve on the Loch Alpine Sanitary Authority Board.

Approved a prorated annual longevity payment to Howard Loughry.

Approved annual Township Insurance Policy through Decker Insurance Co.
