SYNOPSIS SCIO TOWNSHIP REGULAR BOARD MEETING

November 28, 2023, 7:00 pm

Approved the minutes of November 14, 2023.

Approved the payment of claims presented and accepted the previous check run report.

Approved a contract to Brian Services for winter snow removal and salting for Township Hall and the Fire Station.

Authorized a contract with Bio-Care for annual firefighter physicals and respirator fit testing.

Approved a deposit to CTS Companies for internet re-cabling at Township Hall.

Conducted a public hearing on a liquor license request.

Recommended the liquor license application for 497 N Zeeb Rd. to the state Liquor Control Commission.

Approved amendments to Site Plan 23015, Scio Retail Management.

Approved Conditional Land Use #23011, Firestone.

Approved the use of ARPA funds to purchase a generator.

Adopted a resolution to establish permanent polling places.

Approved the conditional offer of employment to Corey Banks for Utilities Technician.

Made appointments to the Planning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Parks, Preserves, and Pathways Committee.

Called for a special meeting on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 6 pm.

Authorized the manager to conduct an administrative review.
