AGENDA
- 1) Public hearing to amend the decision criteria for variances in Article 29, Section 29.06(C) of the Zoning Ordinance.
- 2) Public hearing to amend Table 16.3 in Article 16, Section of the Zoning Ordinance to increase the building coverage on parcels greater than 5 acres, zoned Rural Residential or Recreation Conservation or residential uses in the Agricultural Zoning District to 2%.
- 3) Action Items:
- 1. Election of Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, and recommendation to the Township Board of the Planning Commission Representative to the Zoning Board of Appeals.

- 4) Discussion: Zoning Ordinance amendment schedule
Draft zoning ordinance amendments may be viewed at the Dexter Township Hall during business hours (8:30 am - 4:30 pm weekdays, excluding holidays). Information will also be available on the Planning Commission page of the Township’s website, https://www.dextertownship.org/planning-commission/, seven to ten days before the public hearing date. Members of the public are welcome to attend the public hearings in person or by counsel to express views on the petition. Written comments should be addressed to the Planning Commission, 6880 Dexter-Pinckney, Dexter, MI 48130, or may be sent by email to the Director of Planning and Zoning at dpz@dextertownship.org. All correspondence must be received by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the public hearing date.
