SYNOPSIS

SCIO TOWNSHIP REGULAR BOARD MEETING

December 12, 2023, 7:00 pm

Approved the minutes of November 28, 2023, and December 2, 2023.

Approved the payment of claims presented and accepted the previous check run report.

Authorized the purchase of Smart Point MXUs.

Authorized payment to install a generator, docking station and transfer switch.

Authorized repairs to Fire Engine 1.

Authorized Dixon Engineering to create technical specifications, bidding, and contract documents for water tower improvements.

Authorized purchase of Smart Homes Rolling Camera/Streaming Control cart.

Authorized purchase of new server.

Authorized purchase of replacement/upgrade networking equipment and licensing.

Approved a contract with DryvIQ to develop scope of work for Project Paperless.

Appointed members to the Land Preservation Commission, and a Board representative.

Appointed a member to the Roads Advisory Committee.

Adopted the Washtenaw Area Mutual Aid Council Interlocal resolution.

Appropriated and authorized the use of American Rescue Plan Act funds for local road improvement projects.

Authorized the manager to apply to the County Road Commission ARPA grant program for storm water drainage improvements.

Established and made appointments to a Transit/Bus Advisory Committee to make recommendations by March 31, 2024.

Approved the publication of the winter issue of the township newsletter.

Authorized ARPA funds for information technology improvements to the Fire Station building.
