SYNOPSIS SCIO TOWNSHIP REGULAR BOARD MEETING

Approved the minutes of two meetings held on January 9, 2024.

Approved the payment of claims presented and accepted the previous check run report.

Approved payment for repair of an air valve.

Authorized renewal contract for Township Website, Meeting, and Video Management Services.

Approved amended 2023 Tax Rate Request.

Approved OHM services for service line identification.

Requested to redirect grant funds from MEDC from Phase VI to Phase V of the Zeeb Road Pathway.

Approved purchase of a new vehicle for the Utility Department.

Authorized funding for meetings of the Jackson Road Overlay District advisory group.

Authorized a temporary contract position for administrative support.

Adopted a policy to standardize the process to appoint members to township committees.
