Eric J Ormsby passed away on March 2nd, 2024 at Henry Ford Hospital in Jackson Michigan. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life with a smile.

Born in 1961 to Lee Roy and Linda Lou Ormsby (Bradbury) in Honolulu Hawaii, he traveled a lot due to his father’s Navy Career before settling in the town of Dexter Michigan. He graduated from Dexter High School in 1980, and went on to study CAD design at Washtenaw Community College, where he earned his Bachelors Degree.

He faced many challenges throughout his life, but still was able to bring passion and joy to those around him. He loved Star Trek and Star Wars, as well as anything else Science Fiction.

Eric adopted his eldest son, Jonathan Mark Ormsby, in 1987. He then welcomed his youngest son, Kristopher with Mechelle Fader in 1989, and is survived by both. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Linda Lou Ormsby (Bradbury).
