Webster Township Special Board Meeting

April 3, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.

The Webster Township Special Board Meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Supervisor John Kingsley on April 3, 2024, at the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, Dexter, MI 48130. Members present: Supervisor John Kingsley; Clerk Barbara Calleja; Treasurer John Scharf; Trustees Shelly Vrsek, Jeff Harms, Dan Munzel, John Westman; Deputy Supervisor Rick Kleinschmidt and 8 citizens.

Motion
to approve the agenda as presented. Carried.

Motion
to accept the bid from T & M Asphalt Paving, Inc., to include the Base Bid in the amount of $420,194.80, Alternate Bid #1, in the amount of $190,048.00 and Alternate Bid #2, in the amount of $155,018.00 to equal $765,260.80 to match the low bid, contingent on positive references. Carried.

Motion
to approve the change order from Washtenaw Engineering Company, in the amount of $17,500.00, as identified in the document dated March 21, 2024. Carried.

Motion to approve the treasurer to transfer $600,000.00 from the General Fund to the Capital Improvement Fund. Carried.

Motion
to adjourn the meeting at 7:20 p.m. Carried.
