WEBSTER TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS ORDINANCE NO. 08-11
At a regular meeting of the Township Board of Webster Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan, held at the Webster Township Hall on May 17, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.
An Ordinance to amend the Webster Township Zoning Ordinance to repeal any ordinances or parts of ordinances or resolutions in conflict with this Ordinance.
Webster Township, Washtenaw County, Ordains:
- Amendment to Zoning Ordinance Article 6, Section 6.10. B. (3). (b). iv: is amended to add a definition to revise the existing text and shall read as follows:
The special conditions and circumstances do not result from the actions of the applicant or current property owners; or previous property owner or title holder, or their agent, unless the applicant would suffer undue hardship or inequity as a result of the denial.
An Ordinance to amend the Webster Township Zoning Ordinance to repeal any ordinances or parts of ordinances or resolutions in conflict with this Ordinance.
Webster Township, Washtenaw County, Ordains:
- Amendment to Zoning Ordinance Article 9, Section 9.22. D. ix:, is amended to revise the existing and shall read as follows:
Section 9.22.D. ix. Detached Accessory Structure Regulations
Maximum Height-Twenty-five (25’) feet.
Location – Front (street) and side yards only. No detached accessory structures are
allowed in the rear (lake) yards.
Minimum Front (Street) Yard – Five (5’) feet.
Minimum Side Yard – See minimum side yard for all structures.
Distance from Front façade of Principal Structure – Rear (lakeside) façade of the detached accessory structure shall be setback a minimum of 50% of the distance between the mid-point of the front lot line to the farthest point of where the front
façade of the primary building meets the centerline at a perpendicular, measured along the centerline of the lot. Centerline is the line that connects the midpoints of the front and rear lot lines. Illustration is available for methodology for measuring the minimum distance.
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall take effect seven (7) days after publication of a notice of adoption unless referendum procedures are initiated under MCL 125.3402. If referendum procedures are initiated, this Ordinance will take effect in accordance with MCL 125.3402.
