Saline Twp: Public Hearing on Amendment to Zoning Ordinance Nov. 1

Saline Township Planning Commission

The Saline Township Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 7 pm to consider the following amendment to the Saline Township Zoning Ordinance:

Amendment to Article 3.204, Permitted Yard Encroachments to permit an uncovered, unenclosed porch or deck the R1, R2 and R3 districts to project into the required rear yard for a distance not to exceed 15 feet and to project into the required side yard for a distance not to exceed 5 feet. This shall not be interpreted to include or permit fixed canopies.

A complete copy of the proposed amendment may be reviewed at the Saline Township Hall, 424 Arkona, Saline, MI 48176 by appointment. Please call the Township Clerk at 734-429-9968. A complete copy can also be viewed on the Township’s website: www.salinetwp.org Written comments will be accepted at the same address through the day of the public hearing. Oral comments will be heard during the public hearing.

Public comment/testimony may be given at the appropriate times during the meeting when called for. Persons making oral presentations are encouraged to submit written copies to the Planning Commission at darrylzink@gmail.com for the record.
