MOTION Iannelli SECONDED Merkel to Approve the Proclamation Declaring June as LGBTQ Pride Month. All ayes. Motion carried.
- Adoption of Resolution #2025-8 Approving Special Event Permit – Bodies Race Company 5/10k and ½ Marathon Race (Manager Colburn)
MOTION Keaton SECONDED Merkel to adopt Resolution #2025-8 approving a Special Event Permit for Bodies Race Company 5k, 10k, and half marathon. All ayes. Motion carried.
- Acceptance of Washtenaw County Brownfield Development Authority Environmental Assessment Grant of $10,250 (Manager Colburn)
MOTION Merkel SECONDED Keaton to accept the grant from Washtenaw County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and authorize the City Manager to sign the grant. All ayes. Motion carried.
- Approval of Washtenaw County/City of Chelsea Agreement for Improvements to Dexter-Chelsea Road (Manager Colburn)
MOTION Mehuron SECONDED Merkel to approve the agreement between Washtenaw County Road Commission and the City of Chelsea for the improvements to Dexter-Chelsea Road and Freer Road within the City of Chelsea and add a 10% contingency allowance making the project budget $207,000. All ayes. Motion carried.
- City Council Candidate Interviews and Ranked-Choice Vote (Clerk Sebestyen
MOTION Merkel SECONDED Iannelli to appoint Kate Henson to fill the vacant City Council position for the remainder of the term ending November 2025. All ayes. Motion carried.
