NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED FISCAL YEAR 2026-2027 MILLAGE RATE AND PROPOSED FISCAL YEAR 2026-2027 BUDGET

Notice is hereby given that the Dexter City Council will hold a public hearing Monday, June 8, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at 3515 Broad St., Dexter, MI 48130, for the purpose of hearing public comment regarding the proposed fiscal year 2026-2027 Millage Rate and the proposed fiscal year 2026-2027 Budget. Information regarding the Proposed Fiscal Year July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 Budget is available by requesting it via mail or arranged pick up from City Hall, 3515 Broad St., Dexter, MI 48130 weekdays between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm (734-426-8303) and online at www.dextermi.gov.

Interested parties are welcome to attend the public hearing and present their comments. Written comments regarding the draft budget should be submitted to the City Manager’s Office at 3515 Broad St., Dexter, MI 48130 or via email to [email protected], and must be received no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 8, 2026.

Sign language interpreter, or other assistance, may be provided upon request to the City Clerk, [email protected], at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting.  Minutes of all meetings are available on the City website, www.dextermi.gov.

Statement as required by MCL 141.412 – “The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.”
