CSB and Employees Donate $2400 to Faith In Action

Chelsea State Bank (CSB) and its employees donated $2,406 to Faith in Action on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

The dollars raised for this donation came from CSB employees and a bank match as part of their ongoing Blue Jean for Charity Fund.

Over 10 years ago, CSB employees kicked off their Blue Jeans for Charity funds to raise money for local charities. Employees donate $3 per person weekly, allowing them to wear jeans to work on Fridays. CSB then matches the employee donations for the selected non-profit agency.

“Faith in Action provides critical support to alleviate hunger and poverty in the Dexter, Chelsea, and surrounding communities,” said Joanne Rau, President and CEO, Chelsea State Bank. “Faith in Action helps families during vulnerable times with their basic needs. We know every dollar matters to the mission at Faith in Action.”
