The Dexter girls’ lacrosse team celebrated Senior Night by rolling past Downriver United 15-1 Thursday night improving to 6-7 overall on the season.
The Dreadnaughts sent seniors Grace Mendez and Marissa Skinner out with a win in their last game at Al Ritt Stadium and both seniors made their mark in the scoring column.
Skinner scored twice and Mendez added a goal, with Skinner also picking up an assist for the Dreads.
Dexter opened things quickly with a pair of Ella Rogalski goals.
Mendez followed with a goal and Rogalski scored her third of the game to make it 4-0 after one.
Olivia Croftchik made it 5-0 early in the second then Rogalski found the net two more times. Goals by Emma Wild and Skinner made it 9-1 at the half.
The second half was more the same with Rogalski finding the net twice more to finish with a huge seven goal game for Dexter.
Skinner and Wild each scored their second of the night, while Bella Sanders and Danielle Sherman scored one each.
Avery Shaieb dished out two assists, while Skinner, Alli St. Amour, Aiden Weinmann, and Croftchik had one assist each.
Dexter wraps up the regular season Tuesday at Father Gabriel Richard and opens regional play at Farmington Thursday.
