John Michael Meyers

John Michael Meyers, age 83 of Boyne City, MI, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 22, 2025.  John was born on June 16th, 1942, to the late Carl and Gertrude Meyers in Dearborn. After graduating from Dearborn High School in 1960, he became a Barber and later built a 30-year career with Ford Motor Company / Rouge Steel.  He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Christine Louise (Doll) Meyers, with whom he shared 30 years of marriage.  Survived by his three sons, Tommy (Missy), Mickey (Debbie), Jimmy (Jen) eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two step-sons Brian Colliau, his girlfriend Lisa, and Steve (Nicole) Colliau.  He also leaves behind many other loving relatives and friends.  For the last ten years, John made his home in Boyne City, where he found a warm community and many cherished friends at the Boyne City Senior Center.  John will be remembered for his humor, kindness, craftsmanship, and the stories he loved to tell. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

John’s funeral service has taken place with burial at Mt Olivet Cemetery in Chelsea, Michigan.
