Margaret Ann Oberle of Dexter Michigan passed away on February 27, 2025 after a long illness. Maragret was born in Newberry Michigan on January 1, 1943, but was a Dexter area resident for most of her life. She attended Dexter High school and graduated in 1961. She was preceded in death by her parents Orville and Dorothy Oberle. Margaret is survived by her sisters, Jeanette and Mildred Oberle, brother Orville Oberle (Cheryl), her niece Kimberly Collar (Chris) and nephews Kyle and Ryan Oberle (Jayla).
Margaret retired from the UofM School of Business in 2009. Margaret was known as “Sis” to her family members. She loved giving holiday parties and her 2 cats. Margaret was a great supporter of her niece and nephews activities whether it was at a bowling alley, baseball games or school concerts. She liked going to the casinos and playing those one arm bandits and also shopping for “Beanie Babies.” She could be ornery and strong willed sometimes but had a heart of gold. “Sis” will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A private burial will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson Foundation or Huron Valley Humane Society.
