7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
This November’s ballot includes just 2 ballot questions: WISD is seeking a 1 mil annual property tax levy for a period of 10 years to fund a proposed career and technical education program. The Chelsea Area Fire Authority is seeking a 0.75 mil annual property tax levy increase for a period of 3 years to fund proposed operational and equipment costs. Sample ballots can be obtained at the Sylvan Township Hall or by contacting the clerk’s office.
Registered voters in Sylvan Township who haven’t voted absentee may vote in-person at the Sylvan Township Hall.
Persons with special needs as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act should contact the clerk’s office. To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available in audio format and in Braille. Arrangements for obtaining the instructions in these alternative formats can be made by contacting the Township Clerk in advance of the election.
