Ordinance No. 92-5 & Resolution No. 25-34 as adopted on October 21, 2025
At a regular meeting of the Township Board of Webster Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan, held at the Webster Township Hall on October 21, 2025 at 7 p.m., Township Trustee Vrsek moved to adopt the following amendment, which motion was seconded by Township Trustee Munzel

NAY: Scharf
ABSTAIN: None
An ordinance under the provisions of Public Act 246 of 1945 as amended to regulate the construction, maintenance and use of private roads within Webster Township, the use thereof by traffic, the parking of vehicles thereon, the administration and enforcement thereof, fees to defray the administration and enforcement costs incident thereof, and to insure that residences and buildings within the Township of Webster may be accessible to police and fire protection, and for other purposes, as follows:
The Township of Webster, Washtenaw County, Michigan Ordains:
- Section 3: Add definitions for the terms “Noncompliant Access” and “Nonconforming Access.”
- Section 4: Add standards allowing improvements on a vacant lot or parcel that abuts or gains access from a Noncompliant or Nonconforming Private Road or Shared Driveway without requiring a road permit, subject to specified conditions.
- Section 12: Revise this section to ensure consistency with the amendments made to Section 4.
- No other changes are proposed to the remainder of the Ordinance.
