YORK CHARTER TOWNSHIP

SYNOPSIS

The April 8, 2025, Regular meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. at the Township Hall by Supervisor Tellas. Five Board members present, two absent. No public comments; No written petitions submitted. Regular agenda approved as amended.

Unfinished Business: None.

New Business: Second Agreement with WCRC approved. 4-year preventative maintenance agreement with West Shore Services for emergency sirens approved. First reading of ordinance to adopt and enforce Appendix F of the Michigan Residential Code accepted. 25-26 FY lawn care agreement, landscape maintenance agreement, and Jeffry Ln well site property maintenance agreement with Creation Keeper LLC approved. 25-26 FY janitorial service proposal accepted from Down River Cleaning. Agreement for commercial construction plan review with Carlisle & Wortman approved. Purchase and installation of 3 no-truck route signs from WCRC approved. Request from S. Schubring to waive MAFD fire run tabled. Motion of support for Non-Motorized Transportation Committee to prepare a TAP grant application from SEMCOG. MAFD capital improvement and operating budgets for 25-26 FY tabled. Percentages for York Township’s share of MAFD budgets approved.
