YORK CHARTER TOWNSHIP

SYNOPSIS

The May 13, 2025, Regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Township Hall by Supervisor Tellas. Seven Board members present. Two public comments heard; No written petitions submitted. Regular agenda approved as amended.

Unfinished Business: First reading of Second Amended Sewer Use Ordinance accepted. Second reading and adoption of Ord. No. 164, Ord. to Adopt and Enforce Appendix F of the Michigan Residential Code accepted. S. Schubring’s fire run waiver request denied. Capital Improvement and Operating Budgets from MAFD approved.

New Business: Res. #2025-13, Res. To Create Timber Ridge SAD and Direction to Establish SAD Roll adopted; Bid from Joe Conners and Emily Lyons accepted for the proposed sale of parcel S-19-01-400-022. General Fee Schedule amendment to include home addition and non-rooftop solar panel zoning app fees approved. Employee Agreement with Building/Zoning Official approved. Raises for hourly office employees, election inspectors, and non-trustee per diems approved. Res. #2025-14, Res. to Establish Twp Clerk’s Salary; Res. #2025-15, Res.to Establish Twp Supervisor’s Salary; and Res. #2025-16, Res. To Establish Twp Treasurer’s Salary, all adopted as amended. Res. #2025-17, Res. To amend Res. #2025-10, Amending Res. #2024-03 to Adopt the General Appropriations Act, 24-25 FY adopted. Transfer from General Fund to Public Safety Fund approved. Charter Oak escrow refund approved. Approved quote for repair of Northern Service District pump #2.
