WEBSTER TOWNSHIP ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

PUBLIC HEARINGS

TUESDAY, June 03, 2025 at 7:00 P.M.

The Webster Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold two Public Hearings at the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 03. 2025, to hear the following requests:

1. 8491 HURON RIVER DRIVE (c-03-30-260-002): The property owner and the resident Jean Ratliff is seeking a dimensional variance request for not meeting the minimum front yard setback from a Primary Road (Sec.9.15.D.vii). The applicant is proposing to demolish the existing house and to build a new single-story single-family home at the subject property. The property is zoned R-1 and has a net area of about 0.46 acres (Application No. 25-ZBA-004).
2. 8405 HURON RIVER DRIVE (C-03-30-260-013): The property owner and the resident Rick Griffith is seeking approval for expanding an existing legal non-conforming single-family dwelling per sec.13.90. I. expansion and extension of nonconforming structure.The expansion is proposed in the back. The property is zoned R-1 and has a net area of about 0.44 acres (Application No. 25-ZBA-005).

Copies of the application materials and Zoning Ordinance are available at the Township Hall for review during regular business hours or by request.   Written comments may be dropped off or mailed in advance to the Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, Dexter, MI 48130 or emailed to zoningadmin@webstermi.us

Verbal comments may be heard at the hearing. All correspondence must be received no later than 3 PM on Tuesday, June 03, 2025.

Those with disabilities must notify the Township Clerk at least seven (7) days before the meeting to allow time to arrange for any necessary accommodations to satisfy their disability and allow for meaningful attendance.
