Project 1:

Project Description: Continued public hearing for the variance application to allow the removal of the existing home and reconstruction of the new residential structure with an attached garage at 152 Shoreview Road. The project will now require 4 variances. The new home will be 12 feet from the south side property line and the new deck will be 6 feet from the south side property line where 20 feet is required, the new home will be 6 feet 9 inches from the west property line where 20 feet is required, and the new covered entry porch and the new residence will be 25 feet 3 inches from the rear (street side) property line where 35 feet is required.

With the closest proposed improvement being a 3.2 foot tall retaining wall/seawall along the water’s edge.

Project Description: Public hearing for the variance application to allow the addition of a new elevated deck of the rear of the home. The proposed deck will be 13.8 feet and the stairs will be 8.8 feet from the rear (North) property line where 20 feet is required in the Westchester Farms project.

Project Description: Public hearing for the variance application to allow the boundary adjustment between the properties at F-06-28-100-028 and 027. The proposed boundary adjustment will make both lots have lot widths under the 200’ lot width required in the agricultural (AG) zoning district.

The public may only speak during the public hearing and during public comment by being physically present at the meeting. Such comments will be limited to three minutes per person for each item. Written comments may also be sent to the township offices at 18027 Old US 12, Chelsea, Michigan 48118-9673 prior to the public hearing will also be received by the Planning Commission at the meeting before close of the public hearing.

This notice is posted in compliance with the Open Meetings Act, Public Act 267 of 1976, as amended, (MCL 41.72a(2)(3)) and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
