Jeffrey Bruce Lovely

Jeffrey Bruce Lovely of Dexter, Michigan, age 63, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor. He was born February 25, 1962, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the son of Oren Bruce Lovely and Maurine (Hodgkins) Snay.

Jeffrey attended Chelsea High School and graduated from Huron High School in Ann Arbor. He studied CAD Engineering at Washtenaw Community College and was a CMM Programmer for 40 years. Jeffrey enjoyed traveling; and liked being at the ocean and spending time with family and friends.

Jeffrey is survived by his father, Oren; son, Jacob (Corrine) Lovely of Chelsea; daughter, Amber (Benjamin) Lovely of Jonesville; brother, Rodney (Debbie) Lovely of Whitmore Lake; and half-brother, Arthur Snay of Warsaw, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his mother; and stepmother, Joyce Lovely.

A funeral service will be held Monday, April 28, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 27, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Cole Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Jeffrey’s family.
