SALINE TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

REGULAR MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Saline Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to obtain input and consider a request for special land use and site plan approval for a proposed battery energy storage system (BESS) facility at the following property located on the north side of Michigan Avenue between Schill Rd. and Dell Rd. in Saline Township:

R -18-10-200-007

The proposed BESS facility will consist of a 100 MW/400 MWh utility-scale BESS system and other site improvements located on an approximately 5.23 acre portion of the property. The proposed facility will connect to the existing ITC Dorset substation located at 8976 Dell Rd (R -18-03-300-005) by way of an easement across the property to the north of the subject site located at 5475 Austin Rd (R -18-03-300-004).

Any person having interest in said Hearing or their duly appointed representatives shall there and then be heard at the above described meeting or adjournment thereof relative to any matters that should come before the Planning Commission.

Written comments regarding this proposal should be directed to the Saline Township Clerk at Saline Township, 4254 Arkona Road, Saline, MI 48176.
