SCIO TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR BOARD MEETING

NOVEMBER 25, 2025, 7:00 pm

Approved minutes of November 12, 2025 Regular Meeting.

Approved payment of the bills.

Approved Haley Mechanical site plan as presented.

Approved Heritage Woods Minor PUD amendment.

Revised Article 36-V, Section 36-135 of the Scio Township Zoning Ordinance.

Abandoned the 20-foot-wide easement on The Levine Property.

Authorized expenditure for the Dexter Ann Arbor Road and Wagner Road Pedestrian Safety Study.

Authorized one year renewal of membership in Southeast Council of Governments.

Authorized continued current services with Granicus for 5 years.

Approved the proposed consulting agreement with Treemore Ecology and Land Services, Inc for one year.

          Authorized Bio-Care to perform Fire Department physical exams and respirator fit testing.

          Adopted NSF fee resolution.

          Approved Scio Township Investment Policy.

          Accepted FOIA appeals.

          Scheduled the Board of Trustees Regular Meeting for December 23, 2025 at 12:00 noon.

          Conditional offer of employment made to Caitlin Scharer as the Residential Assessor.

          Adopted resolution to amend FYE Budget27 and propose FYE27 Budget and to authorize purchase of

          property to establish a Township Preserve.

          Directed the ad hoc committee to convent and report back at the December 9^th meeting.

          Directed the Township Attorney to conduct research into reasonable criminal defense rates for top

          white collar defense attorneys in Washtenaw County.

          Directed the Township Attorney to communicate with the Supervisor’s attorney regarding the

          appropriate rates for criminal-defense and white-collar hourly rates in Washtenaw County.

          Directed the Township Attorney to provide information on the procedural requirements and

          implications of the Township furnishing an attorney for the Supervisor’s defense.
